Buying a bulk meat share means you are committed to more sustainable eating while supporting small, family-operated farms. While we do offer smaller packages and individual items, bulk meat shares ensure that you are eating from different parts of the animal. The benefits of this include more complete nutrition and better cost savings (up to 25%).
We produce 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef seasonally when the time and conditions allow us to produce adequately fattened beef. An animal that eats nothing but grass its entire life requires more time and good genetics to put on the appropriate amount of "finish" which will lead to great eating qualities.
This seasonal grass-finished beef came from a beautiful mature animal and was dry-aged for 21 days to help tenderize the meat while concentrating the natural flavors. The healthy yellow fat is expressive of the animal's diet of solely grass and forage high in carotenoids. Each share is roughly 44 pounds of products and contains the following items:
- Ribeye steaks, bone-in (3 packs)
- NY strip steaks, boneless (2 packs)
- Ranch steaks (1-2 packs)
- Top sirloin steaks (1-2 packs)
- Sirloin flap steak (1 pack)
- Flat iron steak (1 pack)
- Chuck roast (2 packs)
- Short ribs (3-4 packs)
- Osso Bucco (3-4 packs)
- Ground beef, 1 lb (22 packs)
Other cuts may include the following, but not every share has these cuts due to the fact that there are typically only a small amount (in some cases just 1) per animal. We've done the best we can to divide up the meat equally and fairly per share:
- Skirt steak (1 pack)
- Flank steak (1 pack)
- Teres major steak (1 pack)
- Tri-tip roast (1 pack)
- Oxtail (1 pack)
